My husband and I arrived to Hart and Soul at 12:30pm only to discover that it was closed. I attempted to reach someone, but received the voicemail. Definitely call before making the drive.

Welcoming interior and owner, Theresa is very nice. I had a party of six there and there was nothing to complain about, good food, great prices, good temperature in the place. I'm writing this at 10:30 am and we are the only people here, I don't know if we missed the breakfast rush or we are here too early? If you are thinking of going here than you should.

We just recently moved to the area so trying to support and learn the local, spots. Each time we ask the wait staff to recommend another local restaurant. Hart and soul came highly recommended and I totally agree. Hubs had eggs Benedict and I had the Belgian waffle. Both were Delish. We will be regulars for sure.

We decided to try Heart and Soul based on the great reviews it got here on Yelp. Unfortunately our experience was nowhere near as pleasurable. It started from the moment we walked in behind another couple. They were immediately seated and we then waited, and waited even tho the table for 2 behind the first couple that arrived 10 seconds before us, was open available and clean. We received an indifferent "sit over there if you like" after more time than comfortably acceptable. Still, we heard so many good reviews here that we smiled hoped for the best and sat. Waitress who seemed indifferent earlier was very warm and friendly once she finally came to ask if we wanted coffee. She was very pleasant at this time and we settled in. We were ready to order so we did pretty quickly. I ordered the Heart and Soul omelet, and my wife ordered the Salmon Benedict on an english muffin. We then waited, and waited, and waited. It was ridiculously hot and uncomfortable at our table. We saw people come 20-30 minutes after us being served, finish and leave. We finally got our food 45 minutes after we ordered, without a reason for the delay or an apology. We said nothing other than thank you at this point. We just wanted to eat.. Disappointment continued tho. The english muffins on my wifes benedict were ao hard and stale they could not be cut with a knife. My omelette was dry, overcooked and barely had any corned beef hash. It had NO cheese at all in it and was so small I laughed. At this point I had to say something. The waitress was very nice and apologetic, and comped the breakfast. I am glad she did because it was awful and barely edible. This was such a disappointment. We had high hopes, but we will not be returning and we will not be recommending this restaurant.

A great place for locally roasted coffee, pretty fast free wifi, and delicious food! Theresa, the owner, is very welcoming and accommodating to her guests. Atmosphere is cozy and cute, a great place to meet for coffee with friends!

I can't say enough about this adorable Cafe. The decor is excellent. It truly is a real cafe experience that makes you feel "comfy" and not in just another typical restaurant. The owners run the cafe. The husband cooks/bakes the food and he is a former chef...which leads to the BEST part...the food is OUTSTANDING! !! I travel all over the US for work so I eat at many restaurants. The food here is like great home cooking. The owners are so kind and friendly. They were even nice enough to make something for me that wasn't on the menu. If you're looking for a great meal, relaxing environmental and friendly people this is the place to go!

We are new to the area and enjoy going out for breakfast/brunch. I looked here on Yelp and found Hart and Soul. Glad we did. The food was very good, the staff friendly, and it's just a cute little diner. Very casual. The portions were just right. We're from up north where breakfasts are served big and hearty. This was just right. We'll definitely be back and try something off their lunch menu.

The setting is very much as the name implies and the staff is likewise warm, friendly, and inviting. I had the Cali Omelette, with chicken and avocado among other ingredients, and it was fresh and fun and very satisfying. I also (thoroughly) enjoyed a Belgian waffle, which was every bit as strong as the omelette. STRONGLY recommend for a sit-down breakfast.

This little place has a lot of warmth and charm. My wife and I frequent this place often for breakfast. It's quiet, the coffee is locally brewed and awesome. It offers delicious country cooking which is very fairly priced. The lady behind the counter, Theresa, is very friendly and attentive. She's the only employee I've ever seen although I know there's a cook in the back too.

Clean and homey. It's clear that the owners take personal responsibility for this place. I just had a simple breakfast but everything was good.

Very nice environment. Clean and inviting. Owners are efficient. Food was ok. My waffle was dense and chewy, but the butter was pre softened which was nice. The bacon is thick cut and tasty, though I asked for crispy and it came out wiggly. The hubs had eggs and hash browns and liked his food, though the portions were on the smaller side. I also ordered the fresh fruit cup and my strawberries were wilted. The rest of the fruit medley was good though. Had high excitement due to the perfect rating but was left under whelmed. Not horrible, just not a 5 either.

So delicious! The Pear Gorgonzola Salad is my favorite!!! We've also been here for breakfast and it was perfect. This is my new favorite place to come to! It's so dangerous that I live within walking distance.

This is a great little cafe with delicious breakfast. The portion size was perfect and the staff very friendly. The prices were reasonable as well. I had an omelette that was very fresh and flavorful. The restaurant is very clean with cute decor. They are a new establishment and seem to be off to a great start. I'd recommend this place for a casual, relaxing breakfast.

The daily lunch special was excellent. The owners, Theresa and Rob do a fantastic job. The only thing better than the food was the excellent service. This place is very clean and you are not afraid to use the restroom here. Great place for breakfast or lunch,

Our family was searching for a quality breakfast place on our way to Sanibel Island, and Hart and Soul surpassed our expectations. Tucked away in an unexpected strip mall the food is executed in a classic style, made with fresh local ingredients and served with a smile. Being from up north service would be considered a tad slow, but for a Florida café it was on par. The interior is inviting and perfect for a relaxed breakfast or lunch and I would highly recommend eating here to anyone who is considering!

My wife and I stopped here for lunch and what a great little place. Family ran and we were greeted by the owners while we entered. The food was truly delicious. I had a wrap with tomato basil soup. My wife had the BBQ plate special which included Mac and cheese topped with bacon. If your looking for a good home cooked meal I would highly recommend this Cafe.

After reading the favorable reviews we decided to try this place for breakfast. My husband and I enjoy eating breakfast out and would prefer to give our business to a locally owned small business when possible. We gave it two tries and were pretty disappointed. The decor itself is cute and clean. The menu and prices are also good. The service was certainly fast enough however the dining experiences were not in line with other comments we read here. The first time there my husband asked for a substitution ( that could have been easily done or offered for an additional charge). He was told plain "no- I don't think he will do that". The second time we were given toast that was just warmed with cold, hard pats of butter. We will probably not return or at least not for breakfast.

Cute place that you would definitely pass by if you weren't looking for it. They do have lots of parking the back, which is good to know as there doesn't seem like much/easy parking in a small/narrow front lot. Great looking menu with lots of great items and serve breakfast most of the day (said they stopped serving eggs Benedict at 11a and also heard them say their waffle iron wasn't kept on past 12p - so not sure about that). We had two different omelets, both were very good. Eggs were light, ingredients were delicious, overall very good! Hashbrowns were okay, could have been browned a little more. My only small issue was service. We were greeted by a very nice hostess/assistant waitress, who helped with drink orders, menus, etc... but our actual waitress was absolutely over it by the time she took our order. When the food came, we asked her for ketchup, never got it. Just not very friendly/concerned about our table. It wasn't very busy, though you could tell they had been busy earlier, but still - service is always key. Would try it again though and to emphasize, the food was very good!

Two of us sat outside for breakfast at one the two tops. Del Prado is loud, but it was so sunny and beautiful outside. Waitress recommended the corned beef and eggs. Eggs were perfectly done to order over easy and with rye toast, American rye not European style rye. Was not too big, just the right size portion. The other meal was two eggs over medium with thick bacon, rye toast, and hash browns done appropriately brown. The bathroom was extremely clean and the new decor and floor look great inside.

What a cute little place (check out the light fixtures made out of colander and cheese graters). I had breakfast and it was just plain good - eggs weren't overcooked or greasy toast want swimming in that margarine (served dry with REAL butter). Friendly Service that was not rushing you out the door. All that and WIFI ;-). Just a very pleasant experience!
